James River Water Authority

Information contained here includes the JRWA regular meeting schedule, the list of JRWA Board Members, the resolution to form an Authority, the MOU, and the JRWA meeting minutes.

The Counties of Fluvanna and Louisa entered into an agreement in 2003 to enhance the ability of the two Counties to develop the Zion Crossroads area by bringing a sufficient and reliable water supply from the James River to that area, shared geographically by the two Counties.

Meeting Schedule of the James River Water Authority

The meetings of the JRWA are suspended until July.

[Regular meeting schedule.] The JRWA regular meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month at 2:00 p.m. Additional meetings, if necessary, will be held on the third Thursday of the month.   During odd-numbered months, the Board will meet in Fluvanna in the former Board of Supervisors meeting room at 132 Main Street, Palmyra, Virginia 22963.   During even-numbered months, the Board will meet in Louisa in the Public Meeting Room at 1 Woolfolk Avenue, Louisa, Virginia 23093.
