Economic Development Director
The County of Fluvanna is seeking a part-time (29 hrs/wk) Economic Development Director. The Economic Development Director is responsible for the planning, administration, and operation of the Economic Development Department and is a member of the County’s management team. The successful candidate must have related work experience, be flexible and self directed, with an interest in developing economic diversity for Fluvanna County as described in the Comprehensive Plan. Undergraduate degree preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and valid driver’s license required. Salary $23.41/hour.

Interviews applicants, determines benefits for Food Stamps, TANF, Medicaid programs in public Social Services agency. Applicant must possess excellent customer service skills, with ability to determine qualifications for financial assistance. High School diploma or equivalency required. Experience preferred.
